There are a number of "Parrot Lists" online which can help you with any advice on behaviour, nutrition, feeding habits, breeding etc. Most are secure lists with an adjudicator "keeping an eye" on things. A Good place to start:

Educational School Trip to NCBIS' Camel Club, Cairo
NEW CAIRO BRITISH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL (NCBIS) AND WSPA (WORLD SOCIETY FOR THE PROTECTION OF ANIMALS) invited Cairo Parrot Talk to attend their "Camel Club" which is an "Extra Curricula Activity" which meets to discuss and learn about animals. The students were made aware of the many conservation issues surrounding parrots, especially the Congo African Grey which are known to be illegally imported into Egypt. Parrot care was also discussed including nutrition, beak/feather care and also the emotional needs of a parrot. The children also had the opportunity to stroke a Congo African Grey. Many questions were asked from the students ranging from "do parrots talk?" to "where are their ears??" Further parrot information has also been displayed on the "Camel Club" notice board for other students to see. Cairo Parrot Talk would like to thank NCBIS in Kattameya and the "Camel Club" for a very enjoyable afternoon and the chance to spread the word on parrot care and conservation. Unfortunately the photographs taken at this session were too big for the photo wall...sorry!
